ISo I have come to realize, that I said I was going to talk about San Diego in each blog post, and yet I have not done that. Ugh I'm such a bad blogger lol.
Anyways, let's see... eventually the weather got much nicer out so we were able to actually go and lay out on the beach. Although swimming was pretty sucky because the water had hypothermia written all over it. I did get in once though, took my brother talking me into it for about 5 minutes, but I did it. Oh yeah! The first day we actually got out and about, the first nice day, was the day we rented bikes. I know it looks cloudy in the picture but that was like 10 in the morning, and it cleared up after that. But literally just from riding bikes around for a few hours.... I got fried!! Didn't notice it till that night. Everyone knows how that goes. Something about later in the night makes sunburns the most embarrassing they could ever possibly be.
The room was extremely nice, well the entire resort was. It had it's own little private inlet beach, and it was only a few minutes walking distance from the ocean. We were all excited when we got there, and on the little table are "complimentary" big water bottles. So we are thinking how awesome that is we will just put them in the fridge and they will be cold for when we go out walking. So we drink one, and still have the second one left in the fridge for later. A few days later they put new ones in the room, and I am bored so I read the little tag on it. "Have this complimentary water on us. Five dollars will just be added to your room bill." WTF. Complimentary.... riiiiiiight. hahaha. So we caught it in time and put the little tag on one of the bottles we had in the fridge and didn't have to pay for it. What kind of bs is that?
Ryan, my dad, and I decide to head to the pool/hottub that night. It's kinda a far walk from the room, cause we were in the back of the property. So that blew, but it was worth it, because the hottub was going to be amazing. We get there, and a couple is getting up and leaving, and there is some weird guy just hanging out. How typical hu? There is always that one awkward person in the hottub or even just around it, when you are wanting to get in and relax. So he decides to have a talk with us, which keep in mind none of us could understand a word he was saying. Eventually he "had a date with the back of his eyes" he said, so he had to get a move on. Thank goodness!!! We had the place to ourselves. It was pretty awesome.
So that's just a little more of the trip. There is definitely more to talk about. So keep checkin back because I will remember to put more in each blog. And if I forget I will make one just for it, like I did this one.
You can see the hottub behind us in this picture.
Beach time!! :D
